Yay, we are now offering a follow-up for our first Sewing Workshop Series: Basics!! It doesn’t mean that you cannot join this course if you didn’t follow the first one. If you have some sewing experience and want to deepen your knowledge you can also start with the second course without doing the first. (the first is meant for beginners and this one for advanced beginners)
With this course you can learn the most important sewing techniques in a more structured way. In this course you will learn these techniques by making samples. Learn to create the perfect lapelle, advanced pocket, bias binding and placket etc. This is an 8-week weekly course (8 days x 2 hours). This course is meant for advanced beginners.
Here an overview of topics in this course:
Lesson 1:
> Pleats and tucks
Lesson 2:
> Hong Kong seams and bias bound seams plus French seams
Lesson 3:
> Jeans / trouser slashed pocket plus coin pocket addition
Lesson 4
> Welt pocket with optional added flap
Lesson 5:
> Bias binding for armholes and necklines
Lesson 6:
> Hidden button placket with buttonholes
Lesson 7:
> Sleeve shirt placket
Lesson 8:
> Lapelled collar with facings
What we provide:

> All tools necessary (pattern drawing paper, rulers, pencils etc.).
