Rent a table in the Sewing Café

From: 7,50

Rent a work space in our Sewing Café with all the machines and tools included.

Description

Work work work! Now it is also possible to work in the Sewing Café without the guidance. This means you can rent a table with all machines and tools included. But you don’t get the guidance in the making of your projects and can work by yourself.* This is cheaper than booking a table with guidance of course.

What’s included:
– Working table, use of machines (sewing machine, serger, cover-stitch, industrial overlock**), use of iron and big tracing table.
– Use of tools, like scissors, measurement tape, rulers, seam ripper etc.
– Use of pattern paper.
– Use of overlock thread.
– Coffee, tea and cookies.

What’s not included***:
– Materials: fabrics and sewing supplies (like zippers, buttons and interfacing)
– Pins
– Sewing thread

We are open 6 days and 3 evenings, so it is always possible to work in these hours. Online it is only possible to book time slots per 2 hours. But if you feel like staying one hour longer it is also possible to pay extra in the studio.

*Guidance is not included, only help with the machine(s) if necessary.
**Sewing machines are by the brand Pfaff. We normally use the ‘Smarter’ (it’s good hobby machine), but you can also ask in class for a more advanced one if you need it, sergers are from Brother, cover stitch by Janome and the industrial serger is by Juki.
***Forgot some of your materials? Most of these materials we are also selling in our store, so if you need them you can buy them there.
****Fashion students can get a little discount for renting. But make sure you bring your student card with you after booking.
*****Would you like to come and work with more than 2 persons? This is only possible if it’s not to crowded in the Sewing Cafe. Ask for the possibilities: info@desteekamsterdam.com or 020-7370356.
