In this course we want to create the patterns which you can use to create the perfect small wardrobe with the designs of you wishes. In a minimalistic wardrobe like this, you need the pieces that bring you most joy and offer the best fit for you body. If the fit and style fits you as a person really well, you can still use these patterns for years. You can always re-make them again in a new fabric!

Did you follow our ‘Pattern Drawing Workshop Series 1.0‘?
With this course you will go more in depth. And.. because you spend so much time in the first course in creating your perfect fitted basic patterns, it is nice to create something you can really use. Use your basic patterns and learn to adjust them to create the patterns of your design or wishes with the perfect fit.

You didn’t follow our ‘Pattern Drawing Workshop Series 1.0‘?
No worries! If you don’t have difficulty finding the right size in the store, but you’d still like to make your own designs, than you can purchase a package of basic patterns in your size when you book this course. It is possible to use these patterns to create the designs of your wishes in the 8 lessons and after that.

The 8 classes:
> Lesson 1. Perfect Skirt(s)
What type of skirt is the best fit for your body? In this first lesson you can bring the ideas for one or more skirt(s) you’d like to make the pattern of. You will also learn the best techniques of sewing details of the skirt (like different types of closures, waistband, split).
> 2. Favorite Trousers
In this lesson you will create your perfect trousers, with all the details that go with it. Choose for example a pleated pants, go high-waisted or not, use a flared leg or straight etc. In this lesson you will also go more in depth of how you can sew the best details of the trousers, like the fly, and different pockets.
> 3. Dress to Impress
What is the best type of dress to emphasize the best features of your body? Besides creating your own dress pattern, we will take the time to explore the best ways of creating shape in a basic top pattern (shifting darts and seams).
> 4. Top / t-shirt
The perfect top or t-shirt is essential in your closed. Next to your own shirt- or top-design, we will go more in depth of the type of sleeves you can create with pattern drawing.
> 5. Detailed Blouse
A blouse has a lot of details. Wit this lesson you will create this elaborate pattern for your own blouse. For example, how do you draft a collar? Besides that we will discuss and practice different sewing techniques like sewing a collar, split, cuff etc.
> 6. Fitted Jacket
A well tailored jacket can be really classy and practical. In this lesson we will create your own style jacket. And: how do you draft and sew the perfect lapel?
> 7. Versatile Coat
Coat time! As your final pattern you will create your own coat. Learn also about different ways of drafting and sewing details like lining and pockets.
> 8. Extra individual lesson
What do you need to finish? Where do you need the help? Come with all your personal questions!

In this course you will work individually, most of the time. In the lesson we will take your own level, process and experience in consideration. That’s why max. 6 people can attend. So someone that is more experienced in sewing techniques will focus more on patterns and the other way around. Every lesson you will bring your own design ideas (picture(s) and/or drawing(s)) to the lesson (and prototype fabric). Sometimes it is nice to do some homework in between. If you feel one of the pieces of the lessons doesn’t fit your wardrobe we will have a look together at alternatives (to really create your own perfect wardrobe!).
